Puppies are 4 weeks old today!

The pups turned four weeks old today, and are more adorable than ever! They are averaging 5 pounds a piece now, and are quite active. They play regularly and are rather amusing to watch!

I posted the puppy ad in the Oregonian online classifieds last night, and by 4:30pm this afternoon I already had one deposit, another deposit coming from a gal in Spokane, and 3 more interested parties coming out to meet the pups tomorrow (Wednesday). At this point, they are only meeting the pups, picking the one they want & putting a deposit down to reserve their pup, and then they'll pick it up when it's 8 weeks old (around May 5th).

Puppy Pics - 16 Days Old!

The pups began opening their eyes this past weekend (day 11-12), and they are fully open as of a couple days ago. They also began "walking" at the same time... it's really just an adorable little toddle at this point, but they sure do seem to like to take those little legs for a spin!

Puppy Pics - 5 Days Old!

The pups turned 5 days old yesterday (my birthday!), and are all doing great! They are eating well, sleeping well, steadily gaining weight, and continue to be as cute as ever!

You can't see them now, but there's a Golden Raspberry plant and a Boysenberry plant which will soon be climbing up either side of the arbor!

PUPPIES ARE HERE!

After a very nerve-racking day (for Zoya too!), and almost five hours of labor, we have NINE beautiful and healthy pups! Five boys and four girls. All of them are pretty good sized, between 13-17 ounces each! Zoya has turned out to be a great mom, and is resting contentedly with her brood. I'm pretty tuckered out too, so I'll just leave it at that & let you enjoy the pictures.
